Next Year's 6th Grade     Counselor & Assistant Principal

Welcome to Henry Middle School! I am your 6th grade school counselor, and I'm so excited to begin this middle school journey with you!  Each year when you move on to the next grade, I will go with you! This year marks my 10th year at Henry, and I cannot wait to watch you grow from a baby-middle schooler to a young adult, ready to take on high school.  In my spare time, I enjoy all things fitness, playing with my dogs Jett and Cota, and spending time with my wonderful family.

I grew up in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie, Texas.  After high school, I received a scholarship to play soccer for Auburn University at Montgomery where I majored in Business Administration.  Upon graduation, I was given the privilege to be a teacher/coach at Grand Prairie High School for eight years.  I then moved to Round Rock, Texas, where I was a teacher/coach at Round Rock High School for two years.  After earning my Masters in Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix, I was hired to be an Assistant Principal at Deerpark Middle School in Round Rock ISD in 2013.  I am currently in my Eighth year as an Assistant Principal at Henry Middle School, and am so proud to be here. 

On a personal note, I grew up with two brothers who along with my parents taught me that family isn’t just the most important thing, but rather it is everything.  I currently live in Georgetown, Texas, with my beautiful wife, Malisa, who works for University of Texas High School as a Counselor.  I also have two children, ages 28 and 25.  JT works for the Wichita Wind Surge in their front office.  Parker works in College Station as a firefighter.
