Tardiness reduces instructional time and disrupts class routine. Therefore, students must be seated IN their assigned seats when the bell rings to not be considered tardy.
Excessive tardiness will result in administrative action.
If a student arrives after the start of school at 9:05 a.m., the student must check in at the attendance office to receive a pass.
If a student arrives to class within the first ten (10) minutes after the bell, the student is marked tardy for that class period.
If a student is more than ten (10) minutes late to any class, the student will receive an absence for that class period.

5 minutes late each day for one class is over 1.5 hours of lost instruction for one class per month.
