ASVAB
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test is a multiple choice assessment of a student's aptitudes, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. It is often offered to American high school students when they are in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, though anyone eligible for enlistment may take it.
An ASVAB score is required for entrance into any military branch.
Primarily, students take the ASVAB as a career exploration exercise. The ASVAB assess a student's natural aptitude. Once you have the results, a series of potential careers that match your aptitude and interests are provided to you. This is a great starting point for guiding your academics toward a specific career or work goal.
