Textbooks
So how exactly do you know which textbook is needed for your ACC dual-credit course? You have a couple of options, outlined here on ACC's website.
Here are a few recommended options for obtaining your textbooks:
Buy textbooks from the ACC bookstore in person (at Highland Campus) or order from their website.
Purchase textbooks from other websites like Amazon, Half.com, Barnes & Noble, or Abe Books. They usually offer new and used options.
Rent textbooks from sites such as Chegg and Campus Book Rentals.
Borrow a book from Mrs. Kennedy
TEXTBOOK SCHOLARSHIPS:
If you have financial need, please see Mrs. Kennedy for books available to be checked out for free or information on how to receive a scholarship to help pay for your textbook. The Leander Educational Excellence Foundation has generously set aside funds to support dual-credit students and have allowed us to start a small collection of books to lend to students: Scholarship Application available in College and Career Center.

Withdrawing from a Course
Be sure you have spoken with your professor to fully understand where you are in the course and resources available to support you. We do not want you to drop a course that you have potential to pass and earn credit!
If you feel it is in your best interest to withdraw, schedule a meeting with Mrs. Kennedy to discuss withdrawal, options for credit, and potential impact to your high school schedule and academic plan.
Follow these instructions to formally withdraw from the course if it is decided this is the appropriate course of action.
***Please refer to the below document regarding how high school credits will be recovered for courses that are not completed (withdrawn) or failed by the dual credit student. The second page of the document expressly outlines the course of action per the timeline of withdrawal.***
