mLISD - Laptop Information

mLISD Information:

Leander ISD strives to be a one-to-one district in grades 6-12. There is an expectation that students will have access to a device in all subjects on any given day. The district has two options for families to participate. They can either "opt in" to our mLISD initiative with a non-refundable security deposit of between $35 -$70/year or a student can provide their own device (BYOT - Bring Your own Technology). If providing your own, device expectations are that it be able to connect to the internet, have access to Google Suite and have a physical keyboard (not just an onboard keyboard - like a phone).

Are you new to mLISD - just opting in or new to the District?

ALL STUDENTS NEW TO Leander ISD will be provided a Campus Technology Orientation through the library. If you are not called to the library by the end of your first week of school please see Mrs. Stone for scheduling.

You can pay your mLISD non-refundable security deposit here. After you have paid please print your receipt and bring it to the library to pick up your device.

Scholarships are available if you have a financial need. Please see a counselor for more information.
