The following section shows you tools that will help you while on the Internet. They are extensions that are added to the browser Chrome. Need help reading things on the Internet? Try installing the Chrome extension called "SpeakIt!" or the extension Announcify - Not only does it read the text, but it opens the article in a new window and it gets rid of the ads and chaos around the article so it is easier to stay focused. It also blurs out the paragraphs that are not being read so it keeps the reader on the correct paragraph.

Here are a few additional suggestions on how to have the computer speak to you.

Ginger - It is a Google extension. It does Grammar and Spelling. you get only so many "free" corrections then it wants you to buy the app. it still gives you correction it just does not automatically replace it in what you are typing.

Speech Notes - https://speechnotes.co/ Speech to text online notepad. You need to "Allow" the microphone to access the program. You click on the microphone and start talking it will type what you are speaking. You need to "speak" the punctuation if you want that in your document. You can then download it as a Word doc to save it.
