Bona Fide Student Group Fundraising
Each organization is allowed to have three fundraising activities per school year. Charitable/community service fundraisers do not count against the allowable three per group/organization, but they must follow the approval process and reporting guidelines:
Your Bona Fide Student Group should meet, discuss, and vote on all fundraisers. The specific purpose for each fundraiser must be identified during the discussion. (Example: Raise $2000 for State Competition) Fill out Financial Addendum and make a copy to submit to Bookkeeper.
Each Bona Fide Student Group is allowed 2 tax free sales days per calendar year. Please submit the Tax Free Sales Day Declaration Form to your bookkeeper as soon as your group identifies their 2 tax free sales days.
Once a fundraiser has been approved by the group, the Fundraiser Permission Request can be filled out. Please be sure that all sections of the form are completed.
A student officer needs to sign and date the request form once Frevvo sends the email for approval.
Submit the copy of the Financial Addendum from step 1 to Bookkeeper.
You will be notified once the Fundraiser is approved/rejected.
Complete a Fundraiser Financial Report that is signed by the student representative and the sponsor within 30 workdays after the fundraiser has ended.
Other Group Fundraising
Complete a Fundraiser Permission Request . Please be sure that all sections of the form are completed.
You will be notified once the fundraiser is approved/rejected.
Complete a Fundraiser Financial Report within 30 workdays after the fundraiser has ended and submit it to your bookkeeper.
