Ms. Turchick

This is my third year at Akin and teaching 2nd Grade!

I grew up in Connecticut, studied early childhood education at Salve Regina University in Rhode Island, and moved to Austin in 2015 to experience new adventures.

I am a huge Disney fan and visit Disney World as much as possible.  My favorite trip was when my family went for 4th of July one year.  

In my spare time I love to read, watch TV,  learn new skills, and play with my cavapoo, Jace.  He's named after a character from one of my favorite book series.
