Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Mrs. Hodgson, and I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher! This is my 10th year of teaching, and I have taught 2nd grade all ten years! This is my fifth year at Akin. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton in 2005, and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2011. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have three kids and a Lab/pit dog named Cody. My son, Ryan, is a 6th grader at Stiles, and my daughter, Grace, is an 8th grader at Stiles, and my son, Alec, is a sophomore at Rouse High School this year. It's going to be a great year!
