I am so excited to be your 2nd grade teacher this year! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013, and I have been teaching ever since. I helped open Akin Elementary in 2017 which was an amazing experience! 

My husband Richard and I just celebrated our eleven year anniversary. We have a daughter named Elliott who is in 2nd grade and son named Anderson who is in Kindergarten. When I'm not teaching, I love going on adventures with my family, tailgating for Aggie football & baseball games, reading, and trying out new recipes. I feel so blessed to have a job I enjoy so much. I am passionate about empowering students to take charge of their own learning. This is going to be a great year!
