I am so excited to be your 2nd grade teacher this year! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013, and I have been teaching ever since. This is my 12th year teaching 2nd grade. I helped open Akin Elementary in 2017 which was an amazing experience! 

My husband Richard and I just celebrated our twelve year anniversary. We have a daughter named Elliott who is in 3rd grade and son named Anderson who is in first grade. When I'm not teaching, I love going on adventures with my family, Aggie baseball games, reading, crafting, and trying out new recipes. I feel so blessed to have a job I enjoy so much. I am passionate about empowering students to take charge of their own learning. This is going to be a great year!
