Mrs. Ratley

I was born in Omaha, Nebraska but shortly after that moved to Buda, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

After college I went back to Buda and taught 4th grade for 2 years. After my second year of teaching I got married to my college sweetheart. We moved to Round Rock, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 4 years before having my first baby. This will be my fifth year teaching at Akin!

Sophie will now be in 8th grade at Stiles and Daniella will be in Fourth grade here at Akin! I love teaching where my children attend school!

In my free time I love going on walks, going to Aggie football games, reading and traveling.

I love teaching in this community and can’t wait for this year to begin!
