Ms. Stanley

Hi! My name is Amanda Stanley and I am super excited to be your child's teacher! This school year at Akin will be my first year teaching!

I am originally from Seattle, Washington, and last year, I graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Early Childhood and Family Studies and a minor in American Sign Language. After graduation, I moved to Austin with my boyfriend who accepted a job opportunity here, and I worked as an Instructional Assistant in Round Rock.

Outside of work, some of my favorite things to do are go on hikes and runs. I also love painting, reading, and spending time with friends.

I am so happy to be here at Akin, and am looking forward to getting to know each this year! Go aviators!
