Welcome to Kindergarten! 

I am so excited to have your child in my class this year! We are going to have a great year of learning, discovery, and so much fun! 

Here is a little bit about myself. I am originally from Massachusetts. We moved to Austin, Texas when I was 7 years old and have lived here ever since! 

I graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University) Go Bobcats! with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education. This is my 20th year of teaching Kindergarten in Leander ISD. I LOVE teaching Kindergarten! 

I just celebrated my 11th wedding anniversary with my husband, Nick. We have a beautiful 9 year old daughter, Audrey, who will be in fourth grade at Akin! We have 2 fun loving dogs. A miniature golden retriever named Lexi and a miniature golden doodle named Amelia! When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family, our dogs, and friends. I enjoy going to the movies, shopping, and trips to the beach!
