Hi students!
Today is Thursday and that’s the day we’ve set aside for library! Today we are going to look at some short tales that involve telling the truth while not directly lying. These stories entertained while they get us to think. Words with more than one definition can be used to confuse from seeing the whole truth. The book is called More True Lies told by George Shannon. He took some short folktales and collected them in this book.

- Name your document [last name] Who Was Presentation
- In the Doc you will see two pages. "Who Was" and "Who Is". If your person is not alive anymore, choose "What Was." If your person is still alive choose, "Who Is."
- Highlight where is says name, and type their name. [spell it correctly and use correct capitalization!]
- Find a picture on Google. Copy and paste it into the middle of the document.
- Share your document with me: cberry@ldsd.org
- Be ready to tell the class about your person. You must be able to answer the questions:
- Who was your person?
- What did they do?
- What can we learn from them?
