Life was Hollow
It was a cave with all the dark thoughts echoing back to me.
All the gems in my cave had sprouted wings and left in great glee.
I laid down on the cold floor now an empty stone. Would I forever and eternally be all alone?
I thought I would do nothing but cry and sob as I wallowed in my misery.
Then you came and broke down my shallow looming walls, my beloved mystery.
I was afraid to reach out and embrace you like you were my own.
It was you who took my hand and pulled me close, taking me outside to the unknown.
You made me smile and laugh just like a child, you taught me how to live in the moment and let loose, run wild.
My dear mystery, you’ve become my hero, my friend, and my lover. I’m glad that forever and eternally, you and I, will have each other.
