Blue Moon
Once in a Blue Moon, you take me by the hand.
You whisper sweet nothings to me and enchant my heart.
You take me across the lake, and talk about the land.
Once in a Blue Moon, you and I don’t have to be apart.
But time is bitter and jealous of our delightful love.
Once in a Blue Moon, we’ll meet again and overcome
A bleeding rage, when push comes to shove.
Return, oh won’t you? My blinding sun.
Once in a Blue Moon, this mortal life of mine
Won't have to yearn for you anymore.
Soon, give me your words, give me a sign.
The Blue Moon stirs my thoughts, but it is you who I utterly adore.
My God, who I cannot be without, you shake me to the core.
When I call for you, I look at the sky and search.
I search for that Blue Moon upon a wet shore.
And search for your voice in the wind, as I question my worth.
