Ms. Patty Rose

Hello Lightning! My name is Patty Rose and I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Lightridge team for the 2021-2022 school year!

I was born and raised nearby in Fairfax, Virginia. I attended Virginia Tech for my Bachelor's degree where I majored in Sociology and Human Development with a minor in Psychology. I loved Virginia Tech so much it is also where I obtained my Master's degree in Counseling (Go Hokies!). This will be my 5th year working as a school counselor. I previously worked at Manassas Park Elementary School for 4 years.

I am passionate about the work that we do as school counselors supporting students in their academic endeavors, social and emotional challenges, and reaching their future college and career goals. I can't wait to begin working with our students and families here at Lightridge and I am looking forward to an awesome year!
