MISSION AND VISION

Lightridge school counselors will advocate for all students so that they have equity and access to the tools which enable them to become responsible world contributors, next generation leaders, lifelong learners, and collaborators in an ever-changing society.

Using a collaborative culture with a framework of advocacy, leadership, and systemic change, the Counseling Department of Lightridge High School will foster an environment that encourages students to embrace their present selves with compassion, and courageously cultivate who they will become through self-advocacy, character development, leadership and self-awareness opportunities.
