Creighton’s Corner has a school mission statement posted throughout the school and in classrooms. Each classroom works together to write their own classroom mission statement. The students recite their class mission statements during Morning Meeting. The students then write their own missions. Every staff member has an accountability partner they check in with weekly to reflect on personal goals. In addition, each class is paired with a “buddy class” to share goals and progress as we achieve our academic and personal goals.
Class missions are displayed outside each door and in our classrooms. Each class works together to write their own mission statements. Teachers and students say their class mission statements together during Morning Meeting to set the tone for each learning day.
Teacher scoreboards are visible in every classroom. Students work with their teachers as accountability partners to take action steps toward our personal mission and goals.
