What is a Program of Activities?

The POA is a Program of Activities for FFA chapters. This document outlines all of the planned and completed events and committee initiatives throughout the year. For example, the POA can include convention, holiday parties, community service events, fundraisers, bulletin boards, and other chapter functions. Through intentional planning, chapter activities can be much more organized, exciting, and influential for participants. Having a plan will allow the chapter to be accountable and better prepared financially for the year’s events. It also allows for reflection on the productivity and relevance of each event. Ultimately practicing this form of organization will help students in their future to be prepared and organized.
