Louisa Alumni

Louisa FFA Alumni are the heart of our program

Louisa FFA Alumni are the true servant leaders of our organization. Our Alumni are active and strong. The FFA Alumni raise thousands of dollars in funds which directly support the youth FFA chapters. Their main source of fundraising comes from a catering business. They cater wedding receptions, business events, professional conferences, and large group events all year long. One of the biggest ways they earn money for the middle and high school FFA chapter is through catering at the Louisa Ag Fair in July.

The alumni meet regularly throughout the year. Fill out the Alumni Interest Survey link below to join the FFA Alumni listserv and receive updates about events happening.

The FFA Alumni is comprised of many members of the community. You do NOT have to have been an FFA member to be a part of the alumni! Many of our alumni consist of parents, local supporters, and teachers. There are former Louisa FFA members, young and old. You also do NOT need to have any agriculture background to be a part of the alumni. All you need is a servant heart and a motivation to support the student members through your efforts. We are looking for more members of the community to join and further grow our amazing Alumni chapter of the Louisa FFA.

Our current president is Whitney Perkins who can be reached at: mwperkin@vt.edu

The FFA Alumni support students who are active 4H members at the 2023 Louisa Ag fair by purchasing a number of livestock projects during the auction. Proceeds from the auction of FFA Barbeque supported student participation in National FFA Convention.
