ACE Medallion

The ACE Medallion is a medal that ACE seniors wear during graduation. These are the requirements as of September 2015. If you’d like to be able to wear the ACE Medallion during your graduation ceremony, you’ll need to complete the following requirements:

Requirements for ACE Medallion: 

• Minimum 2.25 overall GPA

• Meet all Jordan High School graduation requirements.

• Complete 50 volunteer hours in an ACE-related career field. Students can participate in the ACE Internship Program, OR find their own placement in the community. These hours must be completed by the 3rd quarter of senior year. Remember, the purpose of these hours is to work with a mentor in the workplace and to gain insight into the career of interest to you! To complete this requirement, you must have the following documents: A letter of reference verifying your hours and an evaluation. The verification letter must be on the company letterhead. 

OR

• Complete 100 hours of a paid or unpaid internship with programs such as ROP, LBCC and other vocational programs related to the ACE career field. Students may also fulfill this requirement by working in jobs that they got as a result of an ROP or Work Experience class. You must provide a letter of reference verifying your hours and an evaluation in order to complete this requirement. The letter must be on company letterhead.
