Upon registration, students fill out a Home Language Survey. If the answer to any one of the first three questions is a language other than English, the student is coded as an EL Referral in PowerSchool and must be screened using the appropriate intake assessment within 10 days of registering.
Please refer to the following links for a summary and training requirements for each assessment. Only ESL teachers may score intake assessments.
Please use the below form to submit intake assessments to the district (refer to the Handbook for further information).
