English Learner Education Resources for Families
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) provides family-friendly resources to help families better understand the English Learner Education (ELE) program and the information they receive from their school district.
These resources include translated infographics and explanations of parent notification letters, as well as other important state and federal information related to the identification, placement, and services provided to students in the English Learner Education (ELE) program. They are designed to help families better understand their rights, the ELE program, and the supports available for multilingual learners.
