Mr. Ing
Computer Science Education Integration into English Language Arts
Mr. Ing's ELLP class used Computational Thinking to develop literary analysis, narrative stories, dialogues, and scenes.
Mr. Ing's ELLP class worked on learning Scratch 3.0 for the first time to create dialogues between sprites to develop their own narrative stories, create scenes, and develop a fully coded story using multiple backdrops. Students were empowered learners by utilizing digital tools to create animated stories that identified and used ELA learning of Narrative writing and storytelling. They also provided each other feedback and worked collaboratively to improve their projects, coding, and narrative flow.
Students worked hard at developing both the coding skills and the narrative story creation all in one. Amazing work. I wonder what they will create next!
