The Graphic Arts (MS) and Graphic Design for Manufacturing (HS) courses recognize visual communication as a creative process that combines art and technology to portray ideas. These courses provide students with basic training in the methods, tools and materials, and media of commercial art. Students use industry standard software to create projects that include logo design, typography, poster art, ad design, page layout, and motion graphics. Students prepare art for print, and perform documentation, employability skills, drawing and creative exercises.
The HS course is UC-AG "F" approved.
