This is the archived page of Ms. Dozois' former animation class.
Animation is the illusion of life, created by artists through drawings, models, digital and time-based media. These projects serve as an introduction to animation through the studies of the principles of animation. Projects are embeded within the graphics communication courses. Emphasis is placed on traditional, hand-drawn, 2D techniques. Advanced students can explore 3D with computer graphics stop-motion and 3D Printing.

Class Activities
Students are involved with the community through guest speakers, activities and special projects. For example, we playtested for the Shoah Foundation's "Dimensions in Testimony", and USC Game lab's "Mission:Admission." We organize a Valentine's Day canned food drive for those in need, and participate in various school events.
