Welcome from Mrs. Marks! I am a Social Studies teacher at Bravo Medical Magnet High School in Los Angeles. I teach Social Studies courses, including AP Government and Politics. AP GOPO is a 5 unit college-level course taught at Bravo. This is a resource website for AP students and teachers that includes AP Government materials for each of the 5 units required by the College Board for the AP GOPO Exam. Each unit contains slide presentations, supplementary videos, and Quizlet reviews. More to come!

Unit 1 examines how the framers of the Constitution structured our government. We examine the struggles and compromises surrounding the Constitution.

Unit 2 explores the policy making process amongst the three branches of government: the legislative, executive, and judicial branch.

Civil Liberties and Civil Rights

Unit 3 explores the extent to which the Bill of Rights and Fourteenth Amendment protects the civil liberties and civil rights of citizens.

Unit 4 explores the political socialization process, the role of polls, and political ideologies.
