Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been another brilliant term in Sancho College and there is much to celebrate. So many of our students have been participating in extracurricular activities, making our environment as inviting and informative as possible, and celebrating significant global and cultural events.
We have had many students nominated by their tutors. Some highlights from tutor nominations are included below:
11B - Faridah for consistently demonstrating LAB values and encouraging others to do the same
11E - Issey for exemplary behaviour during tutor time
10B - Andrew for showing resilience and earning more merits
10E - Daren for improving his engagement across subjects and achieving more merits
9B - Kshitiz for living LAB values and getting lots of merits
9E - Lily for commendable behaviour during tutor time
8B - Yevhenii for consistently demonstrating the LAB values around the academy and excellent attendance.
8E - Livy for taking responsibility and showing integrity during restorative conversations
7B - Benjamin for exemplary behaviour during tutor time; always one of the first to have his reading book out.
7E - Andi for always being engaged in lessons and in tutor and always trying really hard in everything.
Mary Poppins Performance
Sancho brought some strong representation to this year’s production of Mary Poppins, both on stage and off! A huge shout out to the following students (I’m sure this won’t be the last time we see their names in lights):
Linara H, Daisy H, Rafferty G, Sara K, Phoebe S-F, Isaac M, Mia B, Jim W, Megan S, Sophia B-P, Mila W, Beatrice C, Daisy G, Bláithín A, Prisha N, Zach W, Alana A, Ethan W, Issey G-S, Varya P, Natalia J, Inka K and Owen T.
Not only have we had some outstanding extracurricular engagement, we also have shining examples of scholarship and ambition.
Next term will be crucial for our Year 11s, who will be taking their GCSE exams. We wish them all the best of luck and hope that they make the most of the intervention sessions run over the first week of the Easter break.
We wish you a wonderful holiday and look forward to welcoming you all back.
With best wishes,
Ms Wheeler, Mr Smith, and the Sancho Leadership Team
