Year 10 should follow their normal timetable this term. The majority of Y10 lessons should be live as pupils should now all have their chromebooks. The Y10 Home Learning Guide for Families will give you further guidance on the following:
Week and lesson schedules
Curriculum map and topics
Live lessons guidelines
Form time expectations
Marking, feedback and assessment
Homework
Differentiation
Pupil Engagement expectations
The attached PDF gives you an overview of what they are learning this term for each of their subjects. This will be updated every two weeks to ensure it is fully up to date with the most recent content.
All learning tasks will be set on Google Classroom. All students have been given a login for Google Classroom and information on how to access it.
When using Google Classroom ensure you:
Go into each classroom to check if there is work set
Read all the teachers instructions twice
Turn on notifications to receive emails and updates from your teachers for support (Menu>Settings> Notifications)
Press 'Hand in' when you have completed your task so the teacher can see it
If you/your child feel the work set is taking considerably longer than a typical lesson (1 hour) we advise you to contact the relevant member of staff who is setting the work, by addressing an email for their attention to parentenquiries@hundredofhooacademy.org.uk.
Have a read of the most recent Pupil Matters issue to find out about some of the outstanding achievements from our Y10s this year, and to find out more information about how to support our pupils in improving their wellbeing whilst working at home.

Medway Public Health have been working with Tonic to put together a well-being survey for Medway young people.
They are hoping the survey results will give us a clear understanding of the experiences of young people in the area during lockdown. The results will then enable them to support schools and local services during and after the lockdown period.
The survey should take no more than five minutes.
Mr Carey has provided the following links to support you with well-being and online safety.
In our current climate, this may be more pertinent than ever. Please see the following links where you can find support.
Why not embrace the idea of supporting one another through messaging in the style of a 'Pen Pal'! In your google classroom pose the idea of supporting one another with this and prompts such as:
How are you coping?
What have you been doing?
Tell them what you have been doing
Share some tips of how you've been coping
One thing that you've found funny this week
