Celebrating Eid!

This week at Langley Park Primary Academy, we have thoroughly enjoyed hearing about what some children did at the weekend for Eid.

We have heard how they celebrated with their families, shared gifts and ate lots of delicious food! We hope all children and their families who celebrated Eid had a wonderful weekend!

Our RE Learning

In Year 1 this week, pupils have been exploring traditions around Easter, Halloween, Christmas, New Year, and birthdays. The children have enjoyed discussing their own traditions, and being open minded when learning about the traditions and beliefs of others.

In Year 5, the children enjoyed working with the Family Trust on financial management! Pupils found this very interesting and it prompted them to think carefully about what they should spend their money on now, and in later life!
