Sciences

At the end of last term, the children had a fun day being mini scientists, celebrating women and girls in the scientific world. They found their own DNA just like Rosalind Franklin, they discovered their fingerprints and went searching for fossils in Forest School just like Mary Anning did. It was a fantastic day!

Next Tuesday, 7th March, the children will be taking part in a STEM Event Day. This is run by a team at RIAT (Royal International Air Tattoo)who work closely with the RAF and run flying demonstrations around the country.

They will be talking with the children and pupils will have a chance to design and make their own gliders, testing them in the afternoon to see if they worked.

This will be linked with a Q & A in June with the team, so the children can find out more about the team at RIAT and RAF.
