EYFS
This week the whole of EYFS have been thoroughly enjoyed our newest members of the team, our chicks!
The children have enjoyed observing the eggs, with the chicks 'pipping' at the shell and then coming out of their eggs. They noticed that when they come out of their eggs they are wet but quickly they dry off and their feathers begin to get fluffy.
The children have been amazing inquirers during the week, talking about what they have seen as well as what they think might happen to the chicks next. We are so proud of how caring they have been, when feeding, cleaning out and cuddling the chicks, well done EYFS!
If your child would like to draw a picture for the chicks over the weekend, please do bring them in to Seedlings, Apollo or Discovery class next week, they would love to see them or share them on tapestry.
