As we approach the festive season, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful events we have experienced this term and the achievements of our fantastic children.
Firstly, a huge congratulations to our Reception and Nursery children for their delightful Christmas singalongs over the last couple of weeks. The children truly shone, filling the air with joy and festive spirit as they sang their hearts out. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who supported each of these events; your encouragement means the world to our little performers.
Our Christmas dinner was another highlight! It went down a storm, with children and staff alike tucking into a delicious festive feast. A special thank you to the Cucina team for preparing such a wonderful meal that brought smiles to everyone's faces. The joy of sharing good food is one of the many treasures of this season.
Additionally, I am thrilled to announce that our recent Christmas Fair was an incredible success. With your immense support, we raised a fantastic total of £2,400 for our academy. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our wonderful staff who stayed on to volunteer and run stalls. Your efforts truly made this event special and memorable for our community.
I have had a number of parents ask when I'll be leaving to go on maternity leave. I will be going on maternity on Friday 16th January. I'd like to extend my thanks to the community. You have all been so considerate and kind in asking after me. I have felt so well looked after. I am pleased that I will still have a couple weeks with the children after Christmas.
As you will know, we say goodbye and good luck to Mr Ashenhurst at the end of this term. We will also be saying goodbye to Mrs Nixon, Year 5 LSA. Although her time with us has been brief, we have valued all she has done for our children.
As we end this term and head towards the Christmas break, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to you all. May your holiday season be filled with joy, warmth, and laughter, surrounded by loved ones.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday 6th January, ready for more adventures together.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
