Year 4

Dear Parents,

Welcome to this crazy time of online learning in 2022. Please see below for information and a set of guidelines/expectations for Year 4 students at Landsdale Primary School. Please know, we are here to support your cherubs and will do our utmost to ensure their schooling is as ‘normal’ as possible and not interrupted by this change in delivery of teaching and learning.

We suggest that an appropriate area of the house is set-up ready for your child’s remote learning experience, where they can complete work with focus, whether that be at a desk, at the dinner table or in another preferred area of your home.

If remote learning occurs for your child or child's class, you may be asked to collect your child’s remote learning work pack from the school office to assist them in their learning at-home. However, where possible, Year 4 teachers will try to keep activities online via Google Classroom. Click on the buttons below to go to your child's Google Classroom, your child will have the code for that classroom, if not please contact the teacher via Class DOJO to have it sent to you.

We have placed a suggested timetable in the work-pack/online should you wish to use it. Class Dojo will be our communication system to continue education at home, and will need to be checked for updates and notifications.

We appreciate your patience and support during this time. We look forward to working together to continue your child’s education.

Many thanks,

Year 4 Teachers

How will Teachers Provide Feedback to Students?

Where required, feedback will be given once the teacher has reviewed the submitted work online.

The final slide in the remote learning package has a space for teachers to provide weekly feedback on the tasks where required. Teachers may also apply digital ‘stickers’ that show tasks completed particularly well, or that may need altering/re-completing.
