Proud Parents

We know that you are proud of your children and when your child particiaptes in Bulldog Bunch, you will be even more proud. Your child will be learning in a safe and caring environment, working toward goals that will help them achieve academically, and working with teachers who are committed to helping them achieve.

Every teacher at Lakeview Local Schools is deemed highly-qualified*, including the Bulldog Bunch teaching staff. Parents may request, at any time, information regarding the professional qualifications of your students' teachers and paraprofessionals. The requested information will be provided to all parents in a timely manner. In addition, please check out the Bulldog Bunch Teacher Profiles for profile information of each Bulldog Bunch teacher.

Progress reports: Bulldog Bunch begins at the beginning of October. This is so that state-mandated assessments will be administered and classroom teachers have a chance of getting to know their students and the students have had a chance to settle in to their new classroom.

Parents of eligible students will receive a Welcome Letter and School-Home Compact. This will provide parents with information about Bulldog Bunch but if any parent has any questions, we would love to hear from you and want to answer all parent questions.

Also, a Bulldog Bunch calendar will be sent home so parents can keep up-to-date of important events happening in the program and at school.

*"Highly-qualified" is the determination by the Ohio Department of Education. Teachers are deemed "highly-qualified" if the meet the following criteria:

• • • hold a bachelor's degree in their teaching field

    • hold a state teaching license
