Welcome to 8th Grade! This website is where you can find important information about upcoming dates and current events happening in all the 8th grade classes.

Our Veterans' Day event was a success! Students had the chance to meet some members from the Naples American Legion Post, learn about folding the American Flag, learn about the history of Veterans Day, and learn about the different table setting to represent Prisoners of War and people Missing in Action. Finally, they wrote some cards to our local veterans. Check out the awesome cards that our students made to thank local Veterans for their service:
Dear Families,
LRMS is participating in the Box Tops for Education program. Box Tops are found on hundreds of quality products.
The program now has an all new Box Tops app for your smartphone that is easy to use. Simply download the app, scan your receipt within 14 days and for each participating product 10 cents will be automatically added to the school’s account. If you don’t want to download the app, send your grocery receipt in with your student and I can scan it for you.
Twice a year, our school will receive a check and we can use that money to buy whatever we need. Visit btfe.com for participating products and to learn more about the program.

Moxie Team Teachers
The Moxie Team includes Art, Family and Consumer Science, Technology, Physical Education, Health, French, and Spanish. Students will have 2-3 Moxie classes on a rotating basis.
