General Course Information
This is a full year course that includes five units: exponents and functions, quadratics, radical functions and geometry, rational functions, and statistics and probability. In the first unit, students will study a variety topics ranging from simplifying exponential functions to exploring geometric sequences. The succeeding units all stress equation solving techniques while weaving concepts of geometry, statistics and probability into the lessons. Students receive a very well-rounded course which fulfills requirements to teach state standards.
Performance Expectations
Students’ achievement in the course will be evaluated through daily assignments, quizzes, chapter tests, and comprehensive semester exams. Each student should bring a pencil, notebook, and their Chromebook/textbook to class each day.
