General Course Information
This is a full year course that includes five units: order of operations and functions, ratios and proportions, linear equations, types of graphs and graphing lines, and multi-step equations and inequalities. The succeeding units all stress equation solving techniques while weaving concepts of geometry, statistics and probability into the lessons. Students receive a very well-rounded course which fulfills requirements to teach state standards.
Performance Expectations
Students’ achievement in the course will be evaluated through daily learning acitivites including assignments, chapter quizzes & tests, and comprehensive trimester exams. Each student should bring a pencil, calculator, note taking guide, homework workbook, and their Chromebook to class each day.
