TEACHERS

Essentially, the Panorama Survey is a way to ascertain the school climate so we can learn our school's strengths and weaknesses from the perspective of our students. {A reflection based upon the results of the survey is also a component of EES}.

An abbreviated presentation about the survey for teachers:

When a parent/guardians responds to the declination letter and requests that their student be excluded from SY 20-21 survey administration, the school coordinator will submit this information to Panorama. Please return any signed documents to Dr. Swanson.

3) Information about the survey:

4) The surveys will be completed via distance learning model this year and may be about any of the teachers students work with. It IS appropriate for teachers to proctor surveys to their own students. If schools prefer to switch this around, they are welcome to and can plan out how to do that within their school.

Altogether, teachers should plan for the survey to take 45 minutes.

  • ~10 min to read the proctor guide and student access

  • ~25-35 min for students to complete the surveys

Elementary students will take 2-3 total surveys (Link)

  • 1 survey about the school

  • 1 survey about their homeroom teacher

  • 1 survey about a randomly selected other teacher that they have a class with (i.e. Art, Music, PE, SPED, etc). If students do not have a course with any teacher other than their homeroom teacher, they will not receive a third survey.
