Only begin the diagnostic when your entire class has returned their Internet Permission forms to Mr. Seiki.
Students only have 21 days to finish the diagnostic or they will be forced to start over.
Please have students that rush retake the assessment. (You will be notified through iReady's teacher platform).
When students finish, they can remain logged into iReady and work on their own personalized lessons with Online Instruction.

Some students who are at a different grade level expectation may benefit from starting the test with questions at a lower level. The test will still adapt to their responses, but the first questions they see will be easier. See attached how to....
The assessment window is set for 12-18 weeks after the first diagnostic. Our window for #2 diagnostic is 11/16-12/18. Teachers can assign the diagnostic to students. FAQ's are a great place to access "how to's"
Assessment Access—Class Learn how to turn on the Assessment Access feature for a class in i-Ready.
Teachers can manually hide or show assessments for designated groups of students. By default, this setting shows assessments on the student dashboard. Toggling the setting ON will immediately hide assessments from view. For example, this setting is useful when classes or groups will test at different times.
The diagnostic cannot be pre-scheduled for a certain date…as soon as you assign the diagnostic, it is sent to the student’s dashboard. So if you plan to take the Reading diagnostic on (i.e.) Dec. 8, you will need to assign it on the morning of Dec. 8 or day prior. Remember that there are options to assigning: you can assign by whole school, grade level, classes, or individual students. Teachers can assign the diagnostic to their own class/students.

Also certificates.
These are tools you can use to track data with students.

The diagnostic will begin at the student’s estimated ability based on their performance from the previous diagnostic. It may be helpful to remind students (and families if the diagnostic will be taken at home again) that the diagnostic is adaptive. So students should work through the questions independently to yield the most accurate results. The diagnostic will continually adapt to the student’s responses
