OWL-Events  (Module 1~3) 
どんなイベントがあるの？What are they?

New ！国際学会発表や国際共同研究への参加は、国内外関係なくポイントが与えられ、海外での現地参加・聴講は、OWL海外渡航としても認められます。Presentations at international academic conferences and participation in research collaboration projects can be recognized for OWL points, irrespective of the place in Japan, online, or overseas. The stay abroad for these occasions will also be acknowledged as OWL overseas experiences.     

1. まず、OWL プログラムにサインアップする必要があります。（サインアップは、こちらから）サインアップする前にイベントに参加しても、参加日と同月中に登録すれば、同月の参加イベントのポイントは付与されます。First of all, you need to sign up for the OWL Program. （Sign up from here）In case you happened to join a OWL event before you sign up, you can get the points from this participation when you register in the same month of the participation. 

2. 京都大学が提供するモジュール１～3のOWLイベントやプログラムに参加すると、あなたのOWLアカウントに自動的にポイントが加算されます。When you join one of the OWL-events of KU  (Module 1~3)  the points will be automatically awarded to your account.　

3. 部局主催のイベントでOWL認定のないものには、ポイントは付きません。  For departments` events without OWL-participation, you cannot get any points. 

4. 学外のイベントや民間留学プログラムに参加した場合は、個人でのポイント申請が必要です。(ポイント申請はこちらから)If you joined one of the non-KU abroad programs or events you need to apply for points individually (from here)

一般に、参加時間が実施時間の8０％を超えていなければ、参加したと認められません。In general, your participation will be accredited when at least 80％ of event attendance is confirmed.

1.ポイント分けルール（原則）

累計履修時間で判定

• M1:X ≦ 1日(6h)

• M2:2~5日(6h< X ≦30h)

• M3:6日(30h< X)

部分点ルール(担当教員が希望した場合)

• 総履修時間の80%に出席で、フルポイント

• 総履修時間の50%出席で、フルポイントー1点

• M1のイベントでは部分ポイントは、認めない。

ポイント点追加の特例

M1/M2のイベントまたは学会等で発表した場合や、リーダーとして企画運営を支援したとOWL運営委員会が認める者には、そ

れぞれ本来のポイントに加え、+1ポイントを付与する。M3のイベントについては、追加のポイントを付与しない。

2.  海外渡航経験の認定​

・現地滞在日数：６日以上（現地到着・出発日も含む）​

・現地とは、海外渡航の目的地である。​

・１回の海外渡航が６日未満の場合、複数回の渡航で累積日数が６日以上になれば、要件を満たす（自動認識）​

3.学会参加の取り扱い

海外における国際学会​現地参加

・発表する（ポスターセッションを含む）​：M4＋M3

・参加聴講のみ​：M4

国内（またはOnline）の国際学会参加

・発表する（ポスターセッションを含む）​：M3​(１日の学会の場合はM２)​

・参加聴講のみ​：なし

その他、以下のことにご留意ください。Please take notice of the following points as well.

A カードリーダーのあるイベント Events with card readers

入/退室の際、学生証をカードリーダーで読み込ませる

At entering/leaving the venue, touch the card reader with your KU ID-Card.

B Zoom Online講習会  Online Lectures

京大メールアドレスでログインしてからZoom会議に入室する（事前にZoomに京大メールアドレスでアカウントを作っておく必要あり）

Log in with your KU-Email address to enter the Zoom Meeting (You previously need to register a Zoom account with KU-Email address)  

C 参加登録だけでポイントが付くもの Awarding points for registration

該当の申し込みサイトに、正しい京大メールアドレスで登録し、少なくとも１回登録イベントに(上記のAかBの方法で)参加する。

Apply with a correct KU-Email address on the application site and join at least one of the applied events by means of A or B.

D 京大外のイベントに参加した場合、個人でのポイント申請が必要です。(個人ポイント申請はこちらから)　  　If you joined one of the non-KU programs or events you need to apply for points individually (from here)

E 海外渡航の登録 １．大学間交換留学の場合、国際教育交流課への報告書提出完了翌月にOWL海外渡航が自動的に登録されます。（報告書にてポイント付与希望にチェックを入れた場合のみ）

In the case of inter-university exchange students, OWL overseas travel will be automatically registered in the month following the completion of the report submission to the International Educational Exchange Division. (Only if you check the box on the report form that you wish to receive points.)

２．部局間交換留学の場合、現在大学間交換留学同様にOWL参加を調整中です。 しばらくお待ちください。

About the department-level Exchange Programs, their lump-sum accreditation for OWL is currently aligned with departments; we'll report to you as soon as it’s fixed. 

３．個人留学(民間業者の留学プログラム)・ボランティア・インターンシップの場合、Dと同じ手順で申し込みが必要です。

In the case of a private study abroad, Volunteers' or Internship program, you need to apply individually according to the process outline in point D.
