4th/5th Grade Overview
Fourth and Fifth grade students will be involved in slide show presentations, a variety of research assignments, as well as coding and programming games. Students will also develop skills in graphic and photo editing, website creation, narrated slideshows, video screen capture, video editing, word processing, typing and emerging technologies. Students will learn coding concepts such as: algorithm (step by step process), command, debug, conditionals, and loops. They will also apply these concepts using a variety of robots to learn problem solving skills. Students will also learn the importance of staying safe on the internet by not sharing any personal information.
