Welina mai e nā ʻohana,
My name is Keala Campbell, and I am honored to serve as the ʻOhana Engagement Coordinator for Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi Kula Kiʻekiʻe. My work is rooted in education and guided by the belief that student well-being and success are strongest when school and ʻohana work together in trusted partnership.
I am a proud graduate of Honokaʻa High School. All three of my children have attended / are currently attending Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi, which deeply informs my perspective and commitment to this work. My professional experience in education and community-based settings has centered on supporting students and families through culturally responsive practices, relationship-building, and shared responsibility. I am especially committed to helping ʻohana feel welcomed, informed, and connected to our kaiāulu and to the resources that support their child’s academic, social-emotional, and cultural growth.
I hold dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo and am currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate at the William S. Richardson School of Law. This educational journey strengthens my advocacy for students and ʻohana and supports my commitment to equitable access, student well-being, and family partnership.
In honoring the legacy and vision of Ke Aliʻi Pauahi, I approach this kuleana with humility and deep responsibility, striving to nurture pilina, belonging, and care for our haumāna and their ʻohana. I look forward to working alongside our counselors and partnering with you to uplift our students and strengthen our kaiāulu.
Me ke aloha nō,
Keala Campbell
