Final Symposium

The Final Symposium. More like the Final countdown. We've had a wonderful last couple of days at the Royal Society.

A selection of our colleagues came to join us for a planning day. This meant that the development plans for our schools was a team effort, we were able to share our thought processes, gain feedback on how realistic that might look in our schools programme and how our colleagues might react to any changes/developments made. It was such a rich experience to be able to talk out the thoughts I've been having about science at Kowhai, and SO hard not have verbal diarrhea with all the excitement of sharing.

On the last day, we presented our final reflection on our STLP journeys and how our experiences and learnings will be used to develop the science programmes in our schools. I really enjoyed sharing my journey as it has been SO rich with personal growth and professional learning. I am incredibly proud of my achievements and am very much looking forward to returning to the classroom and putting plans into place for higher science engagement and achievement.

Thank you for following my journey. Even if no one has read this, it has been a rich experience to keep a log of my experiences.
