Welcome Back, Parents and Students 

We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable holiday. As we step into this new term, we are excited to share some fantastic updates and opportunities for our students in sports.

 Introducing Rugby for Years 6 to 11 

We are thrilled to announce the introduction of rugby for students from Year 6 to Year 11. This addition to our sports program aims to foster teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness among our students. We encourage all eligible students to participate and discover the excitement and camaraderie that rugby brings. 

ISSAK Season 1 Try-outs: 

A Great Start The ISSAK Season 1 tryouts for basketball (primary) and football (secondary) kicked off with incredible enthusiasm. The turnout was massive, and we are proud of all the students who took part. The team lists for the selected players will be announced and pinned around reception by Friday for primary and Monday for secondary. We know everyone is eagerly waiting, and we appreciate your patience. Training Schedule and Fixtures For those selected to represent KISU in the ISSAK games, please note the training schedule: 

Girls: Every Monday and Thursday after school

Boys: Every Tuesday and Friday after school 

The fixtures for the games will also be regularly updated and pinned around reception. We encourage parents and students to take a moment to read through these updates to stay informed. 

Elite Morning Swimming Programme 

We are also excited to introduce our Elite Morning Swimming Program, which will take place every Tuesday and Thursday for primary students and every Wednesday and Friday for secondary students, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Our dedicated coaches and lifeguards will be on hand to support and guide our swimmers. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to improve their strokes and start the day with invigorating exercise. We encourage all our students to embrace this program and look forward to seeing large numbers at the pool. 

A Season of Entertainment and Competition 

We are committed to bringing KISU LIONS back to the top, and this can only be achieved with the support and involvement of our wonderful parents. Let’s work together to make this season one of growth, entertainment, and fierce but friendly competition.
