Welcome Back KISU!
Firstly, I would like to extend a huge welcome back to all our returning students and a warm welcome to those who are new to our school community. Over the last two weeks, I have been really impressed with the punctuality, attitude, and overall positivity displayed by our students across the school campus. One of the things I love most about our school is the politeness of our students. Every day, I am greeted warmly in the corridors and around the campus, which showcases the 'Caring' attribute from the IB Learner Profile. This sense of community and respect is something I deeply value and encourage.
IGCSE Results:
A huge congratulations to our current DP1 students for their outstanding IGCSE results! Not only did our students exceed our expectations, but we also achieved a exceptional 100% pass rate! While it’s important to celebrate this academic success, I would also like to recognise the dedication, commitment, and perseverance our students have shown in understanding their subjects. These results are a evidence of the hard work put in by each student, reminding us all that diligence and effort are key ingredients to success.
IB Diploma Results:
This summer, we were thrilled to receive the IB Diploma results for the Class of 2024. I am pleased with the achievements of our students, who have all reached their full potential. Our predicted grades were accurate, reflecting the strong alignment between our assessments and the actual performance of our students. Throughout the IB Diploma Programme, consistent assessment and tracking are vital in ensuring students are aware of their progress and understand how to achieve the next level of excellence. Our dedicated and experienced teachers have once again demonstrated their commitment by providing extra academic support throughout the year.
Introducing CAS Advisors:
We are excited to announce a new initiative to support our students in the CAS Programme. This academic year, every student has been assigned a CAS advisor; A member of staff who will be available to provide additional support and guidance with their CAS portfolios and academic mentorship. We encourage all students to take full advantage of this initiative and schedule bi-weekly meetings with their advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to receive individualised feedback and guidance, allowing them to enhance their CAS experiences and benefit from coaching support throughout the year.
