Dear KISU Community,
I would like to extend a thank you to each and every one of you for contributing to such a positive start to the academic year. It's truly inspiring to see how our community comes together to support our learners, creating an environment where they can thrive.
This term, we've had the pleasure of welcoming a significant number of new families into the KISU community. We are delighted to have you with us and look forward to seeing you involved in school life. Keep an eye out for updates from our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). As the current Executive Committee prepares to pass on the baton to a new team, there will be numerous opportunities for you to get involved. The PTA is a vital part of our school, and your participation will help shape its future.
I’m also pleased to report that our new teachers are settling in well and are already making valuable contributions to the ongoing development of the school. Their energy and fresh perspectives are helping to enhance the learning experiences we offer.
We have more reasons to celebrate, particularly the outstanding achievements of our recent IGCSE exam cohort. I’m thrilled to share that they achieved a 100% pass rate, with 30% of grades being A* and A. Additionally, 84% of grades were A* to C, a result that compares very favourably not just with schools in England, but also with premium international schools. Congratulations to our students and teachers for their hard work and dedication!
Looking ahead, I will be sharing our school's three-year strategic goals with parents this year. We are committed to maintaining open lines of communication and will continue to invite you to events, workshops, and parent-teacher consultations. Please do join us for our assemblies and coffee mornings. These gatherings are wonderful opportunities to connect, share ideas, and be part of the vibrant KISU community.
Here’s to an even more successful 2024–2025 academic year!
Best regards,
Lee Wilson
School Director
