KISU Sports News and Updates
The month of May has been action-packed for our young athletes at KISU.
On 21st May, our Primary swim team participated in the ISSAK Swimming Gala held at Heritage. It was an exciting and competitive event, and our swimmers showed incredible spirit, resilience, and teamwork throughout the day. We are proud to share that KISU finished in 5th place overall—a fantastic achievement. I’m extremely proud of the commitment and performance displayed by every swimmer who took part.
A week later, on 28th May, KISU had the honor of hosting this year’s ISSAK Primary Athletics competition, welcoming five other schools: ISU, RISU, AMB, AIS, and HIS. It was a vibrant and energetic day filled with both track and field events. Our athletes competed in field disciplines such as discus, shot put, javelin, long jump, and high jump, while on the track, they took part in sprints, middle-distance runs, long-distance races, and relays.
It was truly inspiring to see our students rise to the occasion, pushing themselves and showcasing great determination in every event. I’m proud to announce that KISU secured 4th place overall—a strong finish in a highly competitive field.
A huge thank you goes out to the PE Department, coaches, parents, nurses, drivers, photographer and all participating students for their hard work and support in making these events such a success.
As we wrap up the ISSAK sports calendar for this academic year, I’m confident that KISU will come back even stronger next season. I look forward to seeing our athletes continue to grow, compete, and shine in the year ahead.
