April 2026 🌸

It’s been an action-packed, memory-making month in the KISJ dorms, with our students finding the perfect balance between high-energy adventures and cozy downtime. We had fun tapping into students' creative side with a popular (and beautifully messy!) slime-making activity, and students also enjoyed a sophisticated afternoon of tea tasting while they learned about different cultures. Our community bonds grew even stronger during our special house dinners off campus, where students shared laughs over great food. Showcasing their incredible grit and determination, several of our dormies also laced up their running shoes to compete in a marathon. Of course, some of the best moments happened in the quiet spaces between events; it was wonderful to see students simply winding down in their houses—lounging on the couches, sharing snacks, and enjoying the easy, comfort of being with friends.  Overall, dorm students experienced a beautiful month of growth and connection.

이번 한 달 동안 KISJ 기숙사에서는 학생들이 활기찬 활동과 편안한 휴식을 균형 있게 즐기며 소중한 추억을 만들어가는 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다.

학생들은 창의력을 마음껏 발휘할 수 있었던 인기 만점이었던 슬라임 만들기 활동에 참여하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈고, 다양한 문화에 대해 배우며 차 시음을 즐기는 시간도 경험했습니다. 또한 교외에서 진행된 하우스 디너를 통해 맛있는 음식을 함께 나누며 웃음과 이야기로 가득한 시간을 보내며 공동체의 유대감을 더욱 깊게 다질 수 있었습니다.

뿐만 아니라 여러 학생들은 마라톤 대회에 참가하며 끈기와 도전 정신을 보여주었고, 서로를 응원하며 값진 경험을 함께 나누었습니다. 물론 가장 따뜻했던 순간들은 행사 사이의 일상 속에서도 이어졌습니다. 학생들이 하우스에서 소파에 함께 앉아 간식을 나누고, 친구들과 편안한 시간을 보내며 자연스럽게 휴식을 즐기는 모습은 기숙사 생활의 또 다른 소중한 순간들 중 하나였습니다.

이번 한 달은 학생들이 서로 교류하고 성장하며 더욱 돈독한 관계를 만들어갈 수 있었던 아름다운 시간으로 기억될 것입니다.

Senior Dinner 😭

Dorm staff arranged a special evening out to honor our graduating Seniors. This traditional dinner brought students and staff together to celebrate the incredible leaders, mentors, and friends our Seniors have become during their time in the dorms. Over a delicious meal, the room was filled with a beautiful mix of nostalgic laughter and shared memories. While there were plenty of smiles, it was also bittersweet as the reality of graduation sets in. We are very proud of our Seniors and we will truly miss their warmth, guidance, and daily presence in the dorm.

기숙사 사감 선생님들은 졸업을 앞둔 시니어 학생들을 축하하기 위해 특별한 저녁 자리를 마련하였습니다. 이번 시니어 디너는 학생들과 기숙사 선생님들이 함께 모여, 그동안 기숙사 생활 속에서 훌륭한 리더이자 멘토, 그리고 좋은 친구로 성장한 시니어 학생들을 축하하는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

맛있는 식사를 함께하며 학생들과 선생님들은 지난 추억들을 떠올리며 웃음 가득한 시간을 보냈고, 서로의 소중한 기억을 나누었습니다. 즐거운 분위기 속에서도 졸업이 가까워졌다는 사실이 실감나며 아쉬움이 함께하는 순간이기도 했습니다.

저희 기숙사 사감 선생님들은 시니어 학생들이 보여준 따뜻함과 배려, 후배들을 이끌어주던 모습에 큰 자부심을 느끼고 있으며, 앞으로 기숙사에서 함께하지 못한다는 사실이 매우 아쉽게 느껴집니다.
